Harry Potter - Keeping a List?

Harry Potter, the famous Boy Who Lived, has been rumored to be keeping a ‘hit list' of the people he believes have done him wrong. We have not been able to get any confirmation of this rumor by those close to Potter, but evidence of him doing so is unmistakable.

Those who are known to be on this list are Peter Pettigrew, Bellatrix Lestrange, and even He Who Should Not Be Named himself. We were rather surprised to hear two of those names (Black and Lestrange), and the rumors behind them are even stranger.

Peter Pettigrew was believed to be killed by Sirius Black near the end of 1981 after You Know Who's first defeat. Black was named as Harry Potter's Godfather. According to the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Albus Dumbledore, Pettigrew was found masquerading as a pet rat, which is his animagus form. He now goes by the name ‘Wormtail', and is said to be following the orders of You Know Who.

Bellatrix Lestrange, who was one of the Death Eaters that escaped from Azkaban over a year ago, is rumored to be the one who killed Black in the Department of Mysteries last year. She and Rodolphus Lestrange were known during You Know Who's first rein as extreme loyalists to him, and after being in Azkaban with the dementors, are extremely dangerous.

The connection between Lestrange, Pettigrew and Black is strong. Pettigrew is now said to have framed Black, and Lestrange is said to have killed Black. With both Pettrigrew and Lestrange on Potter's list, should we be looking for others who have done ‘wrong' against Black? If Potter is looking for revenge in favor of Black, should those who have done the ‘wrong' be protected? Are there others out there that we should be worried for?

And last, He Who Should Not Be Named. Most likely on the top of Potter's list, You Know Who is the most dangerous of all. Although there are many who believe that it is not Potter's responsibility to stop Who Know Who, why would he be on Potter's list? His wrong-doings against Potter are numerous. When Potter was one, You Know Who killed his parents. Since then, You Know Who has been trying, unsuccessfully, to kill Potter.

Who else is listed, and for what reason? Is the list only for those who have done great wrong doings against Harry Potter and those he cares about, or is it even for those little things, like revenge against pranks?

Is there more reason for Harry Potter than revenge for this Hit List? It is not an activity of the Light to be keeping track of those you wish to kill, and I hope that all wizards and witches of the Light agree with me. Revenge by death is Dark. Could the Boy Who Lived be Dark? Or is he simply unstable? Correct or not about the second rise of He Who Should Not Be Named, there are many out there who still believe that he is at least slightly disturbed (see "Harry Potter, ‘Disturbed and Dangerous'" by Rita Skeeter, Daily Prophet, 1994).

Even though he is the Boy Who Lived and most likely the One, the Savior of the wizarding world, we cannot condone this behavior of killing. Unfortunately, we have been restricted from writing about the evidence of Harry Potter's list, but know we have it. And, one last warning, be careful about what you do and what you say to the Boy Who Lived.
